Install Snow Leopard in your PC/Laptop Using Retail disc -without Leopard using Bootcd

At last here we come up with the latest and most easiest way to install Snowleopard Operating system on PC.

If you are new to Hackintosh scene, better read the prerequisites for an OSX86 install from here, 
Though it is not mandatory for this method of install.


Things to grab :

1. Buy SnowLeopard Retail disc from Apple. [Use the offer below]

2.Get the Special Patched Hackintosh-india Bootcd [Updated]V2.0  and Snowleopard files from Downloads.

Note : AMD/intel pentium/Atom users should download legacy version of Hackintosh-India Boot cd.

Procedure :

Pre-install Steps:

1. Boot the Hackintosh-India Boot cd.

2. Eject the Boot cd, Load Retail MacOSX  Snowleopard install DVD and press F5.

3. Select the install DVD, press down arrow- Boot in Verbose mode.

4. Select-Utilities-Disk Utility.

5. Select the HDD you wish to install, Partition it as GUID partition.

NOTE: If you wish to install SnowLeopard to a MBR partition [i.e on a separate partition on your current MBR disk, then you have to patch OSinstall.mpkg in the Retail install DVD as shown in the video below]

6. Select the GUID partitioned disk for install.

7. Select Customize-Select Essential System software&X11.

8. Click install and wait for Restart.

9. After Restart Boot the installed Disk/Partition in Verbose mode using Hackintosh-India Bootcd.

10. Create User account with Password.

Post-install Steps:

NOTE : AMD/intel Pentium/Atom users should copy the mach_kernel from
/Hackintosh_India_Bootcd_legacy/Extra/Preboot/Extra/  to their root disk (delete the existing mach_kernel)
fix permissions using disk utility after that. 
intel core2 and above users need not follow the above step. 

1. Install the all kexts using kext Utility from SnowLeopard files.

2. Install the Preference Panes.

3. Set the Preferences in the VoodooHDA and Trackpad Pereference Panes as show in the Video.

4. Delete com.apple.Boot.plist from /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and replace it with one from SnowLeopard files.

5. Create dsdt.aml using DSDT patcher and place it in the root disk.

6. Install Chameleon to the root disk.

7. Copy smbios.plist to the /Extra folder.

8. Restart.

9. Install latest updates from Software Update.

10. Enjoy your SnowLeopard :)
